Weather: 62 degrees, 70 today and sunny
Mood: Happy

It's Monday morning and I'm not at work. And I'm happy. This weekend I just had the feeling of happiness and thankfulness wash over me and I'm basking in it today. My family is healthy. We are doing well. Bryan is with us and he is a very happy person to have around. I don't know that I've laughed this much in a long time. I am a lucky woman.
We did this a lot yesterday. It was kind of an at home kind of day. We are going to be out today, so it made sense to take a day of rest. We played a bunch of Mario Galaxy and stayed in our jammies and just hung out. Bryan and I geeked out on our laptops as well.
I made my sweet potato fries that I've been craving. They were even better than I remembered them. I don't want to have that much fried food every day, but I'm glad I did that yesterday. For supper I just threw a crock pot chicken dish together since I didn't know when DH would be home from fishing and I didn't want to go out again to eat.
Just so we wouldn't be total slugs, we went down to the pond for a walk.
Of course we took pictures. I still need to add my photos to the Flickr site, but Bryan has his up already. This is one of his shots, since I only had the 50 mm lens on my camera and there was no way to get far enough away to get everyone in the shot. Just how much am I loving this? Being in a picture with more than one of my own children... Love it.
Today we're headed up to the city to have lunch at the T-Rex Cafe. M wants to show his brother all the dinosaurs up there. Then we'll wander around the shopping area and find some warmer clothing for the Arizonan in our midst. It's supposed to be REALLY cold by Wednesday, so he needs to get ready. I know it's going to be 70 today, but trust me, the cold weather is coming.
And then we'll take M to the allergy doctor and then stop and pickup Chinese food for dinner.
If you want to read Bryan's version of what we're up to this week, check out his blog.
Did I mention how happy I am? And thankful? :-)
